Our platform aims to connect artists and intermediaries who share a common goal of promoting sustainability and advocating for environmental conservation. One of the significant features of our platform is that it is structured by problem focus instead of discipline, which encourages collaboration between the environmental sector and all artistic disciplines. By promoting cross-sectoral collaboration and encouraging contributions from a broad range of artistic disciplines, we aim to make a meaningful contribution to the sustainability movement and establish a new, positive narrative in which the future looks more attractive, inclusive, and sustainable at the same time.
This platform has four key objectives:
1. Developing cross-sectoral capacity-building programs for young artists, providing them with relevant, transparent, up-to-date, and adaptable knowledge on pressing environmental issues.
2. Developing capacity-building programs for intermediaries, enabling them to reach non-engaged audiences effectively.
3. Creating a network where committed young artists, facilitators, and environmental organizations can learn about each other's work and develop close collaborations.
4. Developing a new narrative and identity for both (green) curating and (smart) touring in an interdisciplinary way.
Three target groups have been identified in the context of these objectives: emerging artists, intermediaries, and audiences. To achieve maximum impact for each target group, we aim to collaborate with partners from diverse artistic disciplines to cover all areas.
Our meeting on December 7th at 2pm will cover the following topics:
· Introduction
· General presentation of the Creative Europe Platform program
· The structure of the green platform
· Small group discussion divided into 3 sub-themes: emerging artists, intermediaries, audience
· Summary of the experiences of the small group discussions, next steps
