The Review Committee seeks presentations that are engaging, creative, fun, useful and informative. We want exciting and engaging session proposals for #YEDC2019 and yours may be one of them! Our conference will be held in Miami, FL July 16-17, 2019.

The Youth Economic Development Conference (YEDC) will address formidable issues facing youth and young adults in preparing for work and career’s in today’s competitive economy. Our theme, Make Money Moves, refers to the potential of all youth to prepare for their economic futures and be transformative change agents in their communities. Our role is to ensure this next generation is fully participating as disrupters in the evolving economy that is unfolding around us. As ever, the challenge is to help youth create viable economic futures, meaningful careers and life success trajectories in the context of this emerging future.

YEDC will provide key note speakers, hands on-workshops, career exploration experiences, college and career planning and personal development discussion sessions geared toward youth between the ages of 14-21. Attendees come from a variety of youth serving organizations, summer youth internships and summer camps.

We are also actively seeking youth presenters. This includes sessions led entirely by youth and sessions with multi-generational collaboration.
