The Unsung Heroes Awards Program annually recognizes CUNY College Laboratory Technicians (CLTs) who have positively influenced a department, program, college or organization from behind the scenes with a positive attitude, willingness to help in whatever capacity necessary, and a commitment to excellence. This is the award that exemplifies the spirit of the profession. The recipient is a person who, through their hard work and selflessness, goes above and beyond what is asked of them. The Unsung Hero is that person that does the thankless jobs to ensure that the students and their co-workers receive the service and support they deserve.

An awards committee will review all nominations and select the winners. The Unsung Heroes Awards will be honored at the Annual CLT Unity Day event scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, November 15.
