Please keep in mind that we take a look at all aspects of each candidate being considered. This includes, but is not limited to, adherence to FxLL rules and regulations; coaching experience; input from other coaches, parents and board members; approach to instructing the players; communication skills with parents, players and other FxLL volunteers; observations over previous years; and availability.
We hope that we have enough teams for each of the qualified candidates to manage/coach a team, however if you do not get a team, we hope you still volunteer with Fairfax Little League as a coach, umpire or some other area.
Please keep in mind that every manager will be required to attend clinics and training provided by Fairfax Little League including rules and safety training in order to manage with FxLL. Managers will also be required to volunteer to help with at least one All-Star tournament game as Field Setup/Break down, Scorekeeper, Announcer, Pitch Counter, etc.
