Getting Started Teaching with CodeHS (open to all levels K-12)

Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2024

Time: 3 PM - 6 PM ET

Location: Medora, Indiana

Description: In this workshop, teachers will set up their CodeHS Pro accounts, get an overview of the course catalog, learn the basics of the CodeHS IDE, experience a lesson from the student's perspective, and discuss instructional strategies. They'll also explore tools on the CodeHS platform, such as code review, the gradebook, access controls, and creating custom content. It will include a deeper dive into the CodeHS platform, teaching strategies, monitoring student progress, grading, feedback, and integrating collaborative coding and planning in a CS classroom.
