2025 HBBS Membership Application / Renewal

Please use this form to apply for HBBS membership.

Membership years run from 1st January - 31st December and renewal fees are due in January.  

The deadline for the latest new applications is midnight of 31st August, by when all membership forms and money must be received for those wishing to join Hastings Procession, enter the fire site and attend out-meetings

This form allows multiple adult members from the same address to apply for a £20 subscription each (£15 until 31/12/2025), with child members at the same address being registered for free.  One person can enter their email address, the names of the adult members, the list of additional adult email addresses, and the names & ages of junior members.  We do not email junior members directly, but only via their sponsoring family members, so please do not provide children's email addresses.

Agreement to abide by the society's rules, GDPR use of data for membership purposes, parental responsibility, and society liability.
Since around 2004 we ceased communicating with members via post.  Therefore we now require members to agree for GDPR use of your basic data details for membership communication purposes if we are to communicate with our members, in addition to requiring you to abide by the  society rules.
Sponsoring adult members of family member groups agree to retain parental responsibility/oversight of under-18 family members at bonfire events, or optionally to agree delegated responsibility to other adult society members having informed an official at the event.
By applying to be a member of HBBS Ltd, you agree to pledge £1 liability in the case of HBBS is wound up. Each adult member 18 and over is entitled to one vote.

Subs due January. Deadline August. We prefer January Standing Orders or BACS payments as they have lower bank fees for us. Standing Order/BACS payee's name: HBBS, sort code 30-97-66 , Account: 00172308, Ref: your initial & last name). Paypal @HBBS. Cash either to the Membership Secretary or the Hon Treasurer.
Standing Orders/renewals are due in January each year, in advance of the February AGM.
