The online Conference is organised by the partners of the INTESA project "Innovation in the technologies to support sustainable development in Agro-industry" and it is the occasion to discuss about the:
• Sustainability of protected crops in the Mediterranean area
• Technical, economic and environmental benefits of protected crops
• Potential Innovation transferability of soilless best practices in the Mediterranean greenhouses
The project INTESA is co-financed by the European Union (ERDF) , through ENI CBC Italy - Tunisia program and promotes the exchange of innovative practices in Mediterranean soilless greenhouses in order to rise the sustainability of protected cultures in terms of reduction of consumption of water/nutrients/energy and waste, without reducing the qualities of horticultural products.
