**DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR BCM EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP IS FEBRUARY 14 at MIDNIGHT.
(PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, SECRETARY, RADIANT LEADER, MANUP LEADER)

**DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR BCM RADIANT or MANUP COORDINATOR IS FEBRUARY 14 at MIDNIGHT.

EXPLANATION OF BCM LEADERSHIP TEAM STRUCTURE:

***************************Executive Leadership****************************
IMPORTANT:
To serve on the Executive Leadership Team (President, Vice President, and Secretary)
one must have served at least one (1) year on the BCM Leadership Team.

LEADERSHIP DESCRIPTIONS:

BCM PRESIDENT-- The BCM President Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the UPREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Upreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.

BCM VICE PRESIDENT--- The BCM Vice President Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the OUTREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. The Vice President shall be responsible for Encouragement and Prayer in the BCM.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Outreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.
5. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings in the absence of the BCM President.

SECRETARY--- The BCM Secretary Shall:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for the INREACH TEAM MEMBERS.
2. Keep accurate records of ALL Leadership meetings.
3. Become acquainted with the duties of the Inreach Leadership Team.
4. Consult regularly with the BCM Campus Minister.
5. Preside over the BCM Leadership meetings in the absence of the BCM President
& Vice President.


***************************Radiant & ManUp Coordinators****************************
IMPORTANT:
It is HELPFUL if the Radiant/ManUp Coordinator has served as LifeGroup Leader, though anyone can
apply.

Radiant/ManUp Coordinators--- The Coordinators:
1. Provide OVERSIGHT for their Respective LifeGroup Ministry (Radiant or ManUp).
2. Provide VISION for their Respective LifeGroup Ministry(Radiant or ManUp).
3. Assist with the selection of Next Year's LifeGroup Leaders.
4. Invest in their LifeGroup Leaders.
5. Lead the LifeGroup Leader Session before the Large Group Gathering event.
6. Assist with meal preparation for the LifeGroup Leader meeting.
7. Keep accurate records of ALL LifeGroup meetings.
8. Meet weekly with the BCM Campus Minister, one of the Campus Missionaries, & BCM Secretary.


***************************Team Leader/Team Member****************************

EACH LEADERSHIP TEAM HAS A TEAM LEADER. PLEASE CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY OF SERVING AS A TEAM
LEADER. YOU WILL BE ASKED DURING THE INTERVIEW.

HERE ARE THE TEAMS YOU CAN APPLY FOR:

-IMPACT TEAM---shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing presentations to local churches to demonstrate the Baptist Collegiate Ministry’s activities at the University of Tennessee at Martin

-WORSHIP TEAM---shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and holding worship events. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) securing a location for worship, planning speakers, organizing a student worship band, and providing a time and atmosphere of worship.

-NOONDAY TEAM---shall be responsible for planning, preparing for, and offering a meal for the campus community. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) scheduling churches to provide the meal, spreading the meal and setting up tables, and cleaning up after the meal.

-OUTREACH TEAM---shall be responsible for spearheading the outreach efforts of the ministry. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) organizing events and personal efforts to share the love of Christ with other students on campus.

-FELLOWSHIP TEAM---shall be responsible for planning, organizing, and holding events to allow students to fellowship. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) cooking, decorating, and preparing for events, creating a hospitable atmosphere for students to build relationships with one another, and cleaning up after events.

-MISSIONS TEAM---shall be responsible for encouraging and enabling students to fulfill the Great Commission by going. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) encouraging students to explore missions opportunities, creating excitement and awareness for missions efforts, enabling students to go by being a source of information, and fundraising to help students go.

-COMMUNICATION TEAM---shall be responsible for working with other leadership ministry teams to promote the BCM and BCM events to students. Their responsibilities shall include (but are not limited to) maintaining Social Media accounts (OrgSync, Facebook, SnapChat), weekly email announcements, the BCM website, the BCM bulletin boards, making announcements at applicable BCM events, and making an effort to advertise on campus.

***The BCM LEADERSHIP TEAM meets on the LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

***************************Radiant/ManUp LifeGroup Leader****************************
IMPORTANT:
To serve as a Radiant or ManUp LifeGroup Leader, you must be committed to invest in the spiritual and relational needs of individuals attending your LifeGroup. This includes:
1. Attending LifeGroup Leaders Meeting each week
2. Personal spiritually preparation (reviewing material when available)
3. Arranging a time outside of LifeGroup Time for the group to gather for encouragement/fun
4. Keeping track of those who are attending and those who are absent. Contacting those who missed
5. Meet the Expectations for BCM Leadership listed below


***************************EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL BCM LEADERSHIP****************************

1. Maintain a consistent devotional life and pray regularly for all phases of the
BCM ministry.
2. Live a LIFE ABOVE REPROACH so that you do not serve as a stumbling block
in someone else's faith (Please Read Romans 14:13 and 1 Timothy 3:1-3)
3. Sense God’s call to serve as a Leader in the BCM
4. Be an active participant in a church while a student
5. Attend all leader development and planning meetings which include:
*Spring Leadership Conference, April 3-4, 2020 @ Lebanon, TN (Cost-$35)
*UT Martin BCM Leadership Calendar Planning, April (NO COST)
*Collegiate Week at Falls Creek, OK, August 2-6, 2020
*BCM Survival for Incoming Students, August 16-19, 2020 @ UTM BCM
6. Encourage Team leaders by attending BCM events throughout the school year
7. Attend the BCM Radiant Overnighter/ManUp Overnighter and Winter Retreat
8. Participate in one (1) UTM BCM Mission trip (December, Spring, or May Break)
