to support our Performing Arts and Educational Programming (Lectures and workshops) areas of the festival. These positions require a minimum 3 hr commitment. Candidates must be reliable and eager to learn. Performing Arts tasks include: attending the tech rehearsal on Friday October 3rd (usually ~2-7 pm). Assist with posting back stage signage, opening ceremony set up, tea ceremony set up, etc.
On Oct 4, assist with stage set up, transitions, and/or tear down in Polsky Theater and Yardley Hall.
Green room and back stage monitoring for various groups.
Workshops Support tasks include: assist with set up, workshop transitions, tear down.
Check wristbands (and registration list for ticketed workshops) of participants.
Document attendance in each workshop.
Encourage attendees to complete brief survey (using QR code) at the conclusion of selected workshops.
Assist the workshop facilitator as needed.
Lecturer Support tasks include: check wristbands of attendees.
Document the number of attendees in each lecture presentation.
Encourage attendees to complete brief survey (using QR code) at the conclusion of each lecture.
