My name is Rachel Wainwright, and I am a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) student at Western Connecticut State University, currently interning under State Representative Jillian Gilchrest. I am conducting research for a program evaluation of the impact of state funding on Connecticut’s biorepository. This program, developed in collaboration with the Endometriosis Working Group, collects and stores biological samples to advance research, improve diagnosis, and develop treatments for endometriosis.
