Life Groups

LifeGroups are the hub of friendship, discipleship and outreach at the Chapel. They’re an important expression of how our church family does life together.

    What?

LifeGroups are small groups of 8-12 people that meet during the week in people’s homes across London. Meetings last around 90 minutes, starting with sharing a meal together, and include a Bible study, prayer, helping each other to witness to the gospel, and we believe, a lot of fun.

    Why?

We think small groups are part of a Biblical model for church family life – large gatherings on a Sunday are complemented by small groups in homes. “Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46-47)

    When and where?

LifeGroups meet weekly or fortnightly, on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night – but times and days vary depending on the group you are in. They meet all across the city in people’s homes.

    Who can join?

LifeGroups are open to everyone, whether you are new to Chapel or a long-standing member.

    Which one should I join?

We want you to feel really at home with your group and so choose the one that is most convenient for you in terms of where you live or work, or when the group meets. Don’t worry if the first group you go to doesn’t feel quite right, you can try another and find one which really suits you.
