Church Worker Scholarship Application Form

Trinity Lutheran Church is privileged to offer scholarship grant opportunities to aid in defraying the financial burdens to those pursuing careers as rostered full-time church workers in an LCMS congregation.

Applicants must be a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enrolled at a recognized institution of higher learning in a course of study leading to full-time professional church work in the LCMS.

The criteria for selecting a recipient shall be:

  1. their participation in the worship, fellowship and programs of the congregation,

  2. their academic achievements, and

  3. their educational goal and pursuit.

Scholarship awards are for one year but may be renewed annually. The total amount awarded each year is based on available designated funds and is to be determined by the Finance Committee. The total annual award amount will be divided equally among qualified applicants. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the total award amount is set at $1,000.00.

Scholarships will be made payable to the student. Winners will be contacted no later than Saturday, July 25.
