Event RSVP: The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Recursion, a Solo Show by Jennifer E. Padilla
Event Address: Gallery 825, Los Angeles Art Association, 825 N La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90069
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your interest in my art and my current solo show, The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Recursion. Your support means so much to me. I hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe during this difficult time.
When the show began, it seemed we had reached a point in this pandemic where gallery visits under strict protocols would be quite a reasonable thing to do. However, the current surge in Los Angeles county has changed the picture dramatically over the last couple of weeks. After reflecting on the current situation and vulnerabilities in my household, I have made the decision to suspend my visits to the gallery for the remainder of the show. I sincerely regret that this will prevent some of us from seeing one another in person for a while longer.
The show will continue on through December 4th, and as it stands right now it is still possible to visit the gallery. If you wish to make an appointment to visit you can still do this, and I will make sure the gallery will be open for your visit. The appointment times below are suggestions only. Please feel free to suggest a different time if it will work better for you. If you would like to meet via zoom, skype, facetime, or phone during your appointment time, I would be happy to do so and to provide a little context on my artwork in real time. Please use the comments section to make this request.
Again, thank you for your support, and please stay safe!
