Virtual Assembly Request
This virtual assembly recorded outdoors during the pandemic takes you through a demonstration of Afro-Peruvian music and dance. A study guide will also be provided to encourage students to delve deeper into Afro-Peruvian culture. Through this assembly students will gain an understanding of the African legacy in Peru.
Afro-Peruvian instrument demonstration and Q&A with the artists will follow virtual assembly presentation.
Available in English w/ Spanish subtitles.
Grades: K - 5th
Length: 45 minutes
Cost: $400 for a maximum of 100 students. Title 1 schools, financial assistance is available, email

Additional: 30 minute Afro-Peruvian dance class; $50.
Additional: Afro-Peruvian percussion class with non conventional instruments found at home (i.e. pots, bottles, buckets, etc) ; $50.
