Request a Library Workshop
The University Libraries collaborates with educators like you to instill lifelong learning skills that students can transfer to other courses and apply beyond the University. In order to ensure the best library workshop for your students, by submitting this request instructors agree to:

1. Submit the request at least 14 days in advance of their desired workshop date;
2. Meet with their assigned librarian to plan the workshop at least 7 days in advance;
3. Send assignments to librarians at least 7 days in advance; and
4. Attend the workshop along with the class (sessions last 50-110 minutes).

All workshops must be linked to an assignment. Due to staffing constraints, we do not provide general orientations, but you can contact libteach@uw.edu to request orientation tutorials, assignment ideas and suggestions.
