WCBU 2021 Grand Masters Men Expression of Interest
We are pleased to announce that applications for the GB Grandmasters Men Beach team for 2022 are now open.

The World Beach Ultimate Championships are provisionally scheduled to take place from April 2nd to April 9th Close to Los Angeles, California. Following our success in achieving silver at WBUC 2017 and gold at ECBU 2019, we are looking to put together a very competitive team that is striving for a gold medal in the Grand Masters division. To be eligible you must have been born in 1982 or earlier.

Selection will be made based on performance at the trial, your experience of playing at an elite level and your ability to bring a positive attitude to the squad.

The trial weekend will be as follows:

Venue: Bournemouth, Dorset
Date: 2nd/3rd October 2021
Approx. Times: Sat 12:30-17:00 & Sun 09:00-13:00

If you cannot meet the trial, but meet all the other requirements, then we still invite you to submit an application.

There will also be approx. four training sessions through the winter. As per previous campaigns, we will look to scrimmage with the Masters in these sessions. There is also an expectation that players will play weekly in the run up to the tournament to ensure their skills are sharp and that they have good ultimate fitness in addition to a personal fitness programme.

See you on the beach,
