College ID Division for Grades 9-College
This division is geared toward athletes with a strong desire to play at the college level. It is unique in that we guarantee more evaluation time with each coach than most other camps, and yet we do not operate strictly as a recruiting camp.
Athletes in this division will learn new skills and tactics to help them advance their game. They will also have the option to attend a Q & A session on college athletics and recruiting best practices. Participants will work directly with each college coach in attendance on a daily basis and will receive a written evaluation from their head coach at the end of camp. Goalkeepers will be coached by dedicated goalkeeper coaches during the technical and tactical training sessions.

The College ID division is limited in size to allow us to maintain the personal connection and close-knit atmosphere we are known for, and it sells out each year. We recommend completing your registration as early as possible. We usually go to a waiting list in May.

Colleges Coaches Anticipated for 2018:
We are very fortunate to have a number of college coaches who return to serve on our staff each year. Campers in the College ID division are able to work with each college coach on a daily basis, thereby establishing strong relationships and benefiting from their knowledge of the game. These coaches are selected specifically for their dedication to holistic and positive coaching methods, as well as their experience with the women's game.

Bowdoin College: Brianne Weaver & Ellery Gould, Head & Assistant Coach
Bates College: Kelsy Ross, Head Coach
Colby College: Kristin Shaw, Head Coach
U. Maine-Farmington: Molly Wilkie & Beth Lebel, Head & Assistant Coach
University of New England: Carly Gettler, Head Coach

High School Prep Division for Grades 6-8
This division is geared toward athletes who are looking to advance their skills, regardless of current level of play. Instruction is tailored to the needs of each camper, with a strong emphasis on positive coaching and fun. We consistently earn top reviews from these campers and their families for our ability to grow their skill set, self-confidence, and love of the game simultaneously.
The Program
Our academy consists of two divisions: the College ID program, geared toward the highly-competitive college-bound athlete, and the High School Prep program, designed for young athletes with varsity and club aspirations. Both age groups are coached in a positive environment, and our benchmarks for success include increased confidence, heightened motivation and enthusiasm, and measurable on-field development. The age-appropriate curriculum includes technical and tactical instruction, small-sided play, and full scrimmages.

The staff consists of current college soccer coaches and players who are committed to helping the next generation of women’s soccer players reach their full potential. We also have a full-time certified athletic trainer on staff and in residence at camp. College ID campers will work directly with each college coach on staff on a daily basis (NESCAC and other NCAA Division III coaches serve as head coaches for this division), and will learn recruiting best practices information.

Meet the Directors
Brianne Weaver began her tenure as the head women’s soccer coach at Bowdoin College in 2012. Under her leadership, the Polar Bears have earned four at-large bids to the NCAA tournament, finished second in the NESCAC twice, had four players named All-Americans, and earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics Award and the Team Academic Award every season. Coach Weaver is an avid student of the game and holds the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and the Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Ellery Gould became the assistant women’s soccer coach at Bowdoin College in 2014. A four-year member of both the Bowdoin women’s soccer and basketball teams, she holds the school’s all-time scoring soccer record, and was a two-time captain and NESCAC Co-Player of the Year her senior year. She played professionally in Sweden and competed at the top University level in England while receiving her M.Ed. She also was a lead coach in Nicaragua with the non-profit organization Soccer Without Borders and holds the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma course.
