Public Interest Communications (PIC) Summer Institute 2024: Graduate Research Participation Survey

Hello Graduate Researchers and Attendees!

Thank you so much for registering for the 2024 Public Interest Communications Summer Institute! At the institute, we will offer grad students an opportunity to present research and get feedback, brainstorm research ideas and showcase research at a poster session.

If you are not a grad student but you know grad students who might be interested in this opportunity, please forward them information about the summer institute and encourage them to register.

To help us prepare for the event, we need to know in advance in which of these opportunities grad students would like to engage. If you are a graduate student, please complete this survey by 11:59 p.m. ET Monday, April 8, 2024. This survey takes only a few minutes to complete.

Whether your project tackles social justice issues, health communication strategies or the impact of technology on public discourse, we encourage you to share your valuable work!

By completing this survey, you'll be expressing your interest in:

One-on-one research brainstorming: If you have a research idea and you want to develop it, you can select this option. We will match you with a professor who can discuss the idea with you and provide guidance.

Poster session: If your research project or idea has not been fully conducted and analyzed, you can select this option to display your visual model in a poster and hear feedback.

Round table presentation: Whether your project is finished or almost finished, you can present it in a roundtable setting and hear feedback in a friendly environment.

Please note: You can select multiple presentation options.

We look forward to learning about your research and supporting your journey as a public interest communication scholar!

Thank you! We look forward to seeing you in Denver.
