🐰 The boarding is run from my family home, we have lots of other rabbits, two dogs and lots of visiting wildlife. Animals on holiday will not make any contact with other animals. The dogs are very calm and don’t go near the boarding units.
🐰 Min four day stay (3 nights). Day of drop off and pick up charged as units cannot be rented out to others on these days.
🐰 Daily health check (eyes, ears, eating well, generally looking well - I avoid picking the animals up as this causes unnecessary stress)
🐰 Daily enrichment - E.g - forage trays, homemade toys, hanging greens.
🐰 Updates sent to owners every other day. (Daily updates can be arranged on request - more details on this below).
🐰 I’m experienced in GI Stasis in bunnies and knowing the classic signs to look for.
🐰 All bedding provided (straw, bedding hay, towels).
🐰 All greens/forage & eating hay provided (although welcome to bring own).
🐰 Owner must provide the animals’ usual pellets, enough to cover the entire stay.
🐰 Owners are welcome to bring the own toys to help with the daily enrichment..
🐰 All owners will complete a booking form once the booking is confirmed detailing likes, dislikes and anything else we should be aware of during their stay.
🐰 Owners are welcome to settle their animals in and see that they are happy.
Notes:
🐰 All rabbits must be vaccinated at least three weeks prior to their stay and show no signs of snuffles (virus that spreads easily - signs are sneezing, running nose etc).
🐰All rabbits living together in pairs or more must be neutered/spayed.
🏥 Should a vet visit be felt necessary, the owner will be contacted immediately. Should I not be able to reach the owner I will act in the best interest of the animal and all vet bills will be met by the owner upon their return.
👥 We politely request that no more than two people accompany the animals into the property.
