The AUSM virtual program is focused on the investigation of popular social movements and the culture of resistance in Mexico. Students will interact virtually with social actors from student groups, the National Indigenous Congress, housing and labor cooperatives, and community based groups. To succeed, the applicant must be self-motivated and open to challenging conversations. Classes will be in Spanish and English and therefore applicants must have at least an intermediate level of Spanish to participate in the program. We appreciate your frank and honest appraisal of the applicant. We accept applicants into the program on a first come, first serve basis, so we encourage you to complete this reference as quickly as possible. If you have any questions, please contact AUSM at firstname.lastname@example.org or 773-583-7728.
