KY Van Driving Permit

The van is for KY associations and KY Office. Not for personal use. Fill out the Drive Log after each reservation. Only people that have filled out this driving permit are allowed to drive the van.

KY’s associations can book the KY van for a kilometer allowance (0,53 eur / km in 2025). The van is electric and can be driven with a normal B driver’s license. The van must be picked up from and returned to Espilä (unless otherwise agreed with the member services employees). It’s strictly prohibited to drive the van into a foreign country (including Estonia).

KY Van’s parking place is next to the disabled parking space in front of the Espilä building. Remember also to check the condition of the van before and fill in the drive log after using the van. You are required to take pictures of the van before your drive. You are also highly recommended to take pictures after the drive. Take a picture of the front, back and sides of the van. Also take a picture of all damages you can find on the van. 

This is purely for your own sake. If you cannot prove that you didn't cause the damages on the van, you are responsible for paying the deductible of 500€.

When returning the van, please make sure to correctly connect and activate the charger. Deductible (own risk) is 500€, which means that if you crash it, you pay 500€. The Van can only be rented for KY activities, not for personal use!
