Shelter Island ALL-Sport Junior Program 2024
Our SUMMER Junior Camp at Dering Harbor Inn is offered for all levels from  8am to 11am and 2pm to 5pm (JUNE 17th - AUGUST 23rd). Three-hour Tennis and All-Sports Developmental Program for kids ages 6  to 18 every weekday.

Camp is staffed to meet everyone's needs---all ages and playing levels.  Emphasis is placed on improving core tennis fundamental skills, player development, physical training, tactical/mental training and FUN!!  Our instructors will use drills, games and match-play to improve tennis skills and give children a great workout and overall excellent experience.

Summer Camp Rules and Regulations  *

Attire

1. Campers must wear tennis shoes (no flip flops or crocs) 

2. Campers must wear athletic shorts/pants 

3. Sunscreen should be applied before arriving to camp (camper may self-apply during day) 

4. We recommend bringing a hat to camp 


Electronic Devices 

5. No cell phone use without Instructor’s permission (must keep in your bag) 

6. No personal gaming devices allowed at camp 

7. No personal music devices allowed at camp 


Food 

8. No peanut, tree nut, shellfish products allowed at camp 

9. No chewing gum allowed at camp 

10. Bring a water bottle to camp (please have campers name on it) 


Behavior 

11. No profanity allowed at camp 

12. No physical violence/fighting allowed at camp 

13. No bullying allowed at camp 

14. No throwing rocks, sand, dirt, sticks, etc. 

15. Leave toys at home (unless you have asked for permission and it has been granted) 

16. Each child must stay with their assigned group and counselors

Promotion & Reservation Policies *
I understand the policies and limitations of any promotion, which are listed here:  Private Lesson Packages may not be shared and are only for use by one customer.  Semi-Private Packages are to be used by two players only.  Each player must buy a package and attend lessons at the same time.  Reservations are made by calling or texting Shelter Island Tennis at 423-747-7164.  There is a 48 Hour Cancellation Policy on lesson reservations.
