Apply today to our Creative Aging workshop series starting October 6th and running through November 6th!
Designed for adults 55 and better searching for a community-based creative outlet, this workshop series gives you the opportunity to connect and create with local Miami teaching artists, immerse yourself in an art medium, and use our museum's collection to inspire you.
This series will offer fun and challenging studio art courses during the span of 6 weeks, art tours led by professional teaching artists, and a final culminating public event to celebrate your final projects.
This fall segment will focus on drawing and ceramics, exploring South Florida’s natural bodies of water as inspiration for the projects. The program will be led by teaching artist Beatriz Chachamovits, with assistant teaching artist Marie Franco and gallery guide Thom Wheeler Castillo.
Programming will run from October 6th through November 6th and will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays in the museum from 2 - 5 p.m. Our culminating event will be Thursday, November 6th.
