Tour: $7,950
Single Supplement: $1,150
In-Country Flight: approximately $950 (we book)

PRICE INCLUDES: Accommodation, most meals, land transportation, tips, local guides and entry into all showgrounds and singsings.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Flights to and from Papua New Guinea, in-country flights (charged separately), visas, evacuation insurance (highly recommended), and purchases of personal nature such as artifacts, souvenirs and beverages.

NOTE: Roundtrip flights from the U.S. start at about $1,800 (although prices have been known to drop to $1,000). A search on the major travel search engines may be up to four times that cost. For the best pricing, please contact us for the name of our travel agent.
Cancellation Charges
To cancel your booking, you must submit your request to us in writing by emailing Teresa@WanderTours.com or postal mail at WanderTours, PO Box 16102, Seattle, WA 98116. Cancellation fees will be applied per person according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification:

• More than 90 days prior to departure: Forfeiture of $200–$500, depending on tour
• 61 – 89 days prior to departure: Forfeiture of full deposit
• 60 – 30 days prior to departure: Forfeiture of 50% of total tour price
• Less than 30 days prior to departure: Forfeiture of 100% of total tour price

No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a tour once the tour begins, including if you leave a tour for any reason or have to be removed from a tour. There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance and require evacuation insurance for our trek tours.

Travel and Evacuation Insurance
We encourage you to protect your investment in this tour by purchasing comprehensive insurance. Insurance covers cancellations due to a variety of issues but it may also cover baggage, medical, accident/life, evacuation, repatriation and other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience to you.

While medical evacuation insurance isn't mandatory for this tour, I understand that it is highly recommended by the tour operator.

Image Release
You agree that WanderTours may use, re-use, and reproduce any images, photos or videos that you send to us, or that are taken by our guides and/or other travelers of you individually or in a group, in any medium, including but not limited to print, electronic media, or Internet, free of charge and without your right to inspection, for promoting and publicizing our travel products and services worldwide.

If you do not want us to use any images of you that are taken by us or other participants during the tour, you must inform us or your tour leader in writing at the start of the tour.

This trip is limited to 10 people and requires an $800 deposit to secure your spot.
Complete and final payment is due on June 8, 2020.

The deposit amount listed on the website for this tour is required to secure your place on this tour. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. If your booking is made within 60 days of departure, the entire tour cost must be paid when we confirm the trip with you.

If you prefer to make payments toward the balance, you are welcome to send them prior to this date. We accept payments by check or money orders (in US dollars) to our PO Box, by bank/wire transfer, through VENMO (@beth-whitman) or by credit/debit card via PayPal (beth@wandertours.com).

And, while we can definitely accept a credit or debit card via PayPal, we really appreciate you paying by check, wire or VENMO as it cuts down on our costs. As a thank you for doing so, we’ll send you a thank you gift of your choice.

NOTE: If you pay your deposit by check, we cannot confirm your reservation until your payment has cleared the bank. Checks returned by the bank will incur a $25 returned check fee.
