Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for having interest in helping the first ever Girls Who Code at GSU Hack-a-Thon!
We are looking for hands on volunteers that can dedicate their time to assisting our event. They will help set up the event space, manage different tasks throughout the event, and clean up the event space after the event.
This is a great opportunity for those who cannot participate in the event, but would like a resume booster. You also will have the opportunity to meet the companies involved!
We will have different time slots to volunteer for, but also options to be involved in the event all day. If you choose to stay all day, lunch will be provided! If we do not have enough volunteers for a certain time slot, we will assign individuals in those slots or ask for more volunteers.
This event will be on GSU campus at Arts and Humanities Hall Room 300, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST on October 20th but volunteers will be scheduled 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM EST. Transportation will not be provided, please plan accordingly, but we will be providing information on where to park and parking lots available nearby.
This is a CASUAL event, please dress comfortable you will be on your feet.
Thank you again, we cannot wait for your assistance!
