Application for prospective vendors of the Bronxville, Chappaqua, Hastings, Irvington, and New York Botanical Gardens (NYBG) Farmers' Markets

If you already know that you are NOT returning to a market you attended last season, please let me know as soon as possible by responding to this email (not via the application form) so that we may make swift adjustments on our end.

Insurance forms and application fees(see below) are due March 30th AT THE LATEST.

Bronxville: May 12 to Nov. 17 (Saturdays 8:30 to 1)
Hastings on Hudson: June 2 to November 17 (Saturdays 8:30 to 1:30)
Irvington: June 3 to November 18 (Sundays 9 to 1:30)
Chappaqua May 12 to Nov. 17 (Saturdays 8:30 to 1)


Registration fees:

Fees are collected upon acceptance to a market. An email confirmation will go out at the end of February/early March with further information.

For each animal, list the breed, size of herd/flock, and indicate if it is a closed herd. Also list ALL types of feed (hay, grain, pasture, etc.), how often the animals are harvested (year-round, seasonally, directly for sale, etc.) and, on average, how long harvested meat is stored.

Please list any items produced with the farm's meat and/or dairy. For example: cheese, beef jerky, etc. For each item, list % of raw product used from your farm and % from other farms along with the other's farm name. Also list types and brands of any additional ingredients added like coagulant or rennet.

Vendors are allowed to bring other products from another farmer/producer if pre-approved by the board. This must not comprise more than 10 percent of your market sales inventory. Please make sure to list any items you would like to bring in addition to your own product. Any product not listed or later added with permission will be NOT be allowed to be sold and be grounds for expulsion from the market for the rest of the season.
