Kitchen crew, bar staffing, event stewarding and production office, Off Grid and Resilient Living Info point volunteers:-In exchange for FREE access to Off Grid, volunteers will agree to work three shifts of 4 - 6 hours in duration each day over the 4 days of the festival. Approximately 16-18 hrs dependent on role and requirements. You will be selected for the role that suits you best based on your preferences, skill set and experience level. We are a small community festival as such we are unable to offer meals for our volunteers during the festival. The site crew and clear up crew will be fed during their time before or after the event as these volunteers will be working longer shifts.
Kitchen Staff work either breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts, helping prepare food for attendees and run our busy kitchen space. Our stewards have a variety of roles onsite, from parking cars to helping keep the site clean and safe. Stewards are the eyes and ears of the festival, maintaining communication lines throughout the weekend. In the unlikely event of an emergency stewards may support the emergency response procedure like evacuation or emergency vehicle egress/regress marshalling. Bar staff work afternoon and evening shifts.
