Nominations for Merchant of
the Year and Business Excellence awards are now open. Our community is invited
to nominate local businesses to recognize their excellence. The community is also
invited to nominate a local business as
Merchant of the Year.
Important
notes about the selection of MOY.
1. The winner must be a member of the
Julian Chamber of Commerce.
2. Community and member nominations inform the
board of the community’s voice. The Board of Directors has the final say in the
selection of the MOY. Criteria includes running a successful business, business
should give back to the community in some manner, nominee should serve as an
ambassador to Julian during the year.
3. Businesses who are not members, but receive many nominations are welcome to join the chamber for consideration for MOY.
Business Excellence Awards are open
to everyone
At the 2026 Installation Dinner(February 5, 2026): We will Announce The Merchant of the Year to be honored Throughout 2026. We will also announce and present Business Excellence Awards!
Members who serve on the Chamber of Commerce Board are not eligible for Merchant of the Year. But are eligible to be nominated for any other category below.
The community service awards are held in July.
