Un-rated Sections: Grade K to 4, Grade 5 to 8, Grade 9-12 & Adults
Location - Costick Activities Center, 28600 W Eleven Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336
This chess tournament is open for all. Participants can play in any one section. Please bring your chess board and pencil. Chess clock is optional. Chess score sheets will be provided.

Payment(non-refundable) can be made via PayPal or CC , it would be $10 entry fee. (registration is must for every participant and payment can be made once for all). You can select the quantity for all participants(if registration includes siblings, friends etc.,)

You must provide your own adult supervision for your child(ren) at all times during the tournament. Do NOT leave your child unattended on the premises.
Please be aware, that this is NOT a drop off event. It is the parent/guardian responsibility to provide adult supervision at all times during the event.
Swiss System Tournament - A Swiss-system tournament is a non-eliminating tournament format which features a set number of rounds of competition, but considerably fewer than in a round robin tournament. Each competitor will participate in all 3 rounds with time controls (30 min per player per game, no delay). Pairing software will be used to decide the pairing for each round. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there are an odd number of players and get a bye.
