Sliding Scale Form for Sunday Songwriting Circle
PLEASE READ:
I know that being a part of a community of songwriters can be transformational, and I feel strongly that it should be accessible to everyone. For this reason, I reserve some sliding scale spots for working class and poor participants in all of my groups, classes, workshops, and private lessons.
I believe that teachers and artists deserve to make a living wage. For this reason, the number of sliding scale spots I am able to offer is limited. Please be mindful that if you sign up for a sliding scale spot when you can truthfully afford the standard rate, either on your own or with help from family or friends, you are limiting access for others.
***Here's how my sliding scale works***
The scale has three tiers. You choose where you fall and what you pay within that range according to your own assessment of your class background and current financial situation. I don't require any explanation.
If the low end of the scale is still inaccessible for you, you can choose your own cost or request a full scholarship. If I get enough full paying folks signing up for a workshop, I may be able to accomodate your request.
When I receive your answers, I will respond to confirm your rate. If the sliding scale spaces for the group you're interested in are full, I will give you info on my sliding scale waiting list.
