How many hours a day will the puppy be alone? Where will the puppy spend most of it's time? Do you believe in crate training? If someone is home during the day, how will you prevent separation anxiety? If no one is home during the day, do you have a plan for potty breaks? *

Does everyone agree to adopt a puppy? Is this a surprise or gift? *

Will you take your puppy to Puppy Class and/or Obedience Classes? Training your puppy is part of my contract and warranty agreement. I work hard to start your puppy on the right path, you will be surprised at what your puppy already knows. I believe in training and feel it should be started as soon as you get your puppy home. I highly recommend www.baxterandbella.com ‘s free podcasts as an addition to in person classes. I have acquired a discount code specifically for my families: BRENSDOODLES for 25% off if decide to buy a membership. *

Describe your lifestyle and energy level? Do you want a dog more interested in lounging? Are you a busy household? Are you sporadically active? Do you need a dog to match your high activity levels? The more specific you are, the better to match a puppy to your family's needs, activity level and lifestyle. *

Goldendoodles have an average activity level. They are a hybrid cross between Golden Retrievers and Poodles. Puppies often have a lot of energy, they can chew, dig, bark, soil the house and cry at night. They can play roughly and scratch your skin with their nails and teeth. They may get sick on floors, furniture and cars. Please tell us your patience level and how you might deal with the challenges of normal puppy behaviour? *

Meeting other humans & other dogs is only a small part of what "Socialization" is.

New experiences and situations are critical to healthy and emotional development of a puppy. How do you plan to properly socialize your puppy?

Please keep in mind the more flexible you are about size, sex, colour, etc., the more likely you are to find a suitable puppy. The more specific you are about aesthetic requirements, the longer you should expect it to take to find a puppy to match your requirements. Breeding is a complex endeavour, our first priorities will always be health and temperament, not aesthetic traits. If you want to order a customized puppy that is within a very specific coat type, colour, size or gender, we may not be the breeder for you. We specifically accept applications from families whose primary interest is a well-bred and well raised puppy. That said, we do our best to match families with a puppy that matches their lifestyle and a puppy you will find the most appealing. Can you tell me your preferences and gender preferences? *

Are you willing to take a puppy that does not meet your stated preferences? *

Do you have a vet? If yes, who? *

May we contact your vet? *

Do you agree to send us follow up reports of vet visits, weights, and lots of photos? *

I have a spay/neuter contract for 12-18 months. Can you keep the puppy safe and agree not to breed the dog? *

Can you agree to contact me if you can not longer keep the dog, in case you need to re-home the dog for whatever reason? *

Puppy Selection is based on order of deposits we have received. There is an initial application processing fee of $100. This amount is applied to the purchase price of your puppy. Prior to breeding, I request an additional $500 this secures your spot on on a specific litter. After pups are born, I request an additional $1000. Balance is due at six to seven weeks of age. I do not want to bring any unwanted puppies into this world. Once approved, my email for e-transfer is: BrenAdtruson@gmail.com

Can you agree to this?

Puppy placement is based on family's lifestyle, activity level, special requirements of the family. There really is not a last pick. Temperament testing is done at 49-53 days. Puppies are placed where they will be the most successful. I usually ask families to give me a list of their favourite puppies and try to place puppies perfectly. Can you agree to this?

Delivery may be available to your area within British Columbia for out of town clients. The majority of our puppies go to the lower mainland. We are willing to bring the puppy to a lower mainland location, Usually Abbotsford. We usually meet in Cache Creek for other areas. I do not ship puppies. Arrangements can be made for a flight nanny at your cost. If you live north of Williams Lake, you will be expected to pick up your puppy. How do you plan to pick up your puppy? *

I reserve the right to first and/or second pick pick of the litter. I am looking for a specific temperament, body structure, head shape, nose width, furnishings, hair type, perfect scissor bite and or confirmation. Do you agree? *
