About the Grose Series
Thank you for registering to participate in the 5th Grose Family LGBTQIA+ Lecture Series on October 21, 2026. The Grose Family Lecture is focused on public policy that impacts the LGBTQIA+ Community. The theme for this year's Grose Lecture is Dimensions of Belonging: LGBTQIA+ Families Across Race, Adoption, and Migration. We are delighted to welcome  as our Grose Keynote Guest- speaker -  The Rt. Rev. Deon K. Johnson|11th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri. Johnson became the first black, first gay, first immigrant to serve as bishop in this diocese. The 5th Grose Family LGBTQIA+ Lecture Series is organized by the The Taylor Center (TC) for Equity and Inclusion and the Faculty in the Department of Race, Ethnic, Gender and Sexuality Studies (REGGS).
