Bio of Professor Kam-Biu Luk
Professor Kam-Biu Luk was born in Hong Kong. He got his B.Sc. in physics from University of Hong Kong in 1976 and Ph.D. in physics in Rutgers University. He is known for his research in particle physics, hyperon, neutrino oscillation, and Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment. Professor Luk has won many awards, which include Sloan Fellowship (1990-94), Panofsky Prize of the American Physical Society (2014), Fellow of the American Physical Society, Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Breakthrough Prize (2016), and Future Prize (2019).
