WINTER/SPRING 2024 SPANISH CLASSES

On February 6th, Woodland District 50 will continue hosting Free Online and In-Person Spanish Classes exclusively for  parents, staff and educators from Woodland District 50. Virtual classes will be taught by Rai Salazar, Professor Emeritus, College of Lake County. Rai has been teaching Spanish for 33 years. 

In-Person class will be taught by Eva Nieto and Cristina Vivas, both from Madrid - Spain, currently Dual Language teachers at Woodland Primary.

We are very excited to add level 3 called "Creative Writing" to our list. These are the three  opportunities depending on your skill level:

LEVEL 1 - Beginner, no prior knowledge necessary - Virtual 
TUESDAYS:
Starts February 6 to April  30 (No classes on February 20, March 19 and 26).
TIME: 6.30 pm to 8 pm.   Sorry, Class is full.

LEVEL 2  - Some prior knowledge of grammar and vocabulary needed (or completed LEVEL 1) - Virtual
WEDNESDAYS: Starts February 7 to April 24 (No classes on March 20 and 27).
TIME: 6.30 pm to 8 pm

LEVEL 3 - Creative writing: intermediate spoken, written and reading skills, for those who are eager to explore and enhance their creativity through writing - In-Person  at Woodland Intermediate 
TUESDAYS: Starts February 6 to April  30 (No classes on February 20, March 19 and 26).
TIME: 6.30 pm to 8 pm

When signing up, please sign up for one level. Space is limited to 25 participants for each level. By signing up you agree to attending all classes,  if you do not attend for 3 consecutive classes you will be dismissed from the class. 

PLEASE NOTE: The first 25 registrants will be added to the class, and additional registrants will be added to a waiting list. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know your status once registration closes.
