Murphysboro Soccer Spring 2020 Canceled
After continued communication between MSI board members, direction from IYSA and with the Governor’s stay at home order lasting through the end of May, and possibly longer, we regretfully must cancel the Spring 2020 season.

MSI is staffed by volunteers with funding from registrations, sponsors and concession stand profits paying for program expenses such as mowing, field maintenance, water, electricity, IYSA player and insurance fees, etc. We are unique as most other towns have some sort of funding from the city/tax payers.

We know this is a difficult time for everyone and we are sorry we are unable to allow the youth to play soccer. This being said the following options are available as the Spring Season is cancelled and there will be no summer season due to all of the uncertainties:

1. Donate: Donate your child’s spring season fee to the program to help cover costs incurred and lost revenue. Your donation to the program is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!

2. Credit: Request for your Spring 2020 registration to be applied to your child’s Fall 2020 registration. If you select a credit, you will not have to register for the Fall 2020 season and your child will automatically be registered for the fall program.

3. Refund: Receive a refund, minus a $10 processing fee. Refunds will be $40 per child for Pre-K - grade 5 and $55 for grades 7-8.
*If registration fees were paid with a credit/debit card, that card will be refunded. If paid by check or cash, a check will be sent to the name and address provided on this form.

This form must be filled out by June 15th to receive a credit or refund.
