English/Spanish InterpreterTasks:-Interpret between Patients and Providers/Intake-Answer the phone, listen to voicemails and make phone calls to patients-Work at front desk to check patients in and out, take vital signs, room patients, and keep rooms/clinic clean between patients-May attend chart reviews-Help with general volunteer tasks (inventory, maintenance, light housekeeping) during patient-care times.-Experienced interpreters are eligible to apply for phlebotomy and lab training-Work the Clinic Director and/or Medical Director to complete special projects
Requirements: Completed PACH Interpreter Volunteer application, fluent in spoken English and Spanish, attended PACH orientation, completed PACH “Best Practices” cultural humility training, current HIPAA training, PACH vitals training or certificate or licensure indicating vitals trained, have current health insurance, obtain secondary needlestick policy (available at low cost through PACH), current Bloodborne Pathogens training, Completed personnel file per FTCA requirements.
