Hi! My name is Chelsea Jackson. I'm a cross-genre writer, editor, and writing coach from the East Coast region of the United States. As you may know, April is National Poetry Month in the US, and many folks celebrate this month by setting poetry reading and writing goals, some even attempt 30in30s.
Since 2022, I've hosted a Poetry Month Virtual Community, creating a space for folks to share their work and receive (optional) feedback from other poets around the world. The goal is to co-create a low-stakes, supportive community where we can strengthen our writing and keep each other accountable to our goals.
This year, we're also adding a Poetry Book Club option! We'll be reading Franny Choi’s,
“The World Keeps Ending, and the World Goes On” and will meet at the end of April (via Zoom) for a chance to discuss this powerful collection and further deepen our skills as critical readers and writers.
Folks can sign up for just the writing community, just the book club, or both!
If you'd like to be a part of this unique experience, please fill out the form below. Unless you opt into my monthly newsletter, information collected will only be used for the facilitation of this National Poetry Month Virtual Community and nothing else.
I'll be sending out Padlet/community information toward the end of March, but in the meantime, be sure to check out the FAQ section at the bottom of this form, and if you have any additional questions, please reach out to me at my
website, via email (
cj@chelsea-jackson.com), or via IG/TikTok @sea_c_j.
Lastly, please note, this experience is being offered for FREE, but donations for the time and energy that goes into facilitating this community are always welcome. You can support my work by
ordering my book or donating via Venmo (

Thanks, and happy writing!
