The 24 Hour Plays: Memphis
Thank you for applying to be a writer, actor, director, and/or production assistant! All positions are voluntary and we ask that you commit to the entire time we've planned for each position. We will spend the whole process at TheatreWorks at The Evergreen.

Time commitment - you MUST be available for the ENTIRE TIME listed below:
* Writers: 7pm Friday, June 27 to 6am Saturday, June 28. (Then come see the shows at 7pm Sat., June 28 and help with the quick strike!)
* Directors: 7-9pm Friday, June 27 and 7am to end of show/strike Saturday, June 28.
* Actors: 7-8:30pm Friday, June 27 and 8am to end of show/strike Saturday, June 28.
* Production Assistants: We'd work with you to find times you'd be available to assist us in different ways, anytime between 6pm Friday, June 27 to the end of strike on Saturday, June 28. PAs specifically assigned to a play as the assistant for that whole process would have the same schedule as the actors, but could miss Friday night's meeting if necessary.
* After the performances, the audience and participants are invited to gather to celebrate and discuss the process. In addition, strike will occur after and it is expected that everyone involved in the production participates so we will not have to do so for long!

We are very interested to work with diverse artists who reflect our community. Please share with anyone you think may be interested! You may apply for any or all positions. We hope to invite a lot of new artists to participate this year. If you have participated in the past, that is perfectly fine, but please do know that we want to be sure that many people in our community get the chance to participate, too. A tie breaker might be the submission date, so do submit early!
