As this is an abbreviated run of 6 Saturdays, we are holding auditions for only a limited number of new cast members (most likely 4) on January 27th.
The show is inspired by the PostSecret project, and is a mix of dramatic and comedic improv and everything in between.
For a good overview of the show, read the Austin Chronicle review from 2011: http://www.austinchronicle.com/arts/2011-01-14/austin-secrets/

The cast for this run of six shows will feature a mix of previous cast members and 3 or 4 new cast members selected through these auditions.
Some things we may cover in the auditions: doing dramatic scenes, intimacy, doing scenes based on secrets, subtext in improv, finding the love in scenes, and improvising with respect for the source material.
The audition day will be Sunday, January 27th, between the hours of 4 and 9pm.
Please check all availability blocks that you can make, for maximum flexibility.
For the actual run of the show, we have a slightly nonstandard rehearsal and performance schedule. It's outlined below:
** Rehearsals **1/30: 8-10pm2/6: 7-10pm2/13: 7-10pm2/20: 7-10pm2/27: 7-10pm3/6: 7-10pm (location TBD)3/13: 7-10pm (location TBD)3/20: 7-10pm
** Show Dates **3/21 (thurs): preview3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27
The slightly longer pitch is that the show is divided into four acts, where we use secrets in different ways- as direct inspiration, as a prompt for a faux-radio interview, to reveal truths about ourselves, and as a hidden truth about one character in the scene.
The underlying through-line is that silly secrets lead to silly scenes, and serious secrets lead to serious scenes, which can be both challenging and exhilarating.
