Grant Terms:

The INTER-LAKE YACHTSMEN’S FUND has established the JUNIOR TRAVEL GRANTS of up to $300 to encourage I-LYA juniors to venture outside of I-LYA to participate in upper-level regattas and events with the goal of advancing their education and skills in sail racing.

EVENT QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Must be 2 or more days duration
2. Must be 200 miles or more distant
3. Draw at least 25 participants in their class and for their boat
4. Preference will be given to events sailed in boats used in the US Sailing Junior Championships.

ELIGIBILITY :
1. Junior must be from an I-LYA area junior program, I-LYA Club, or its Junior Program
2. Be between the ages of 13 and 19
3. Have approval of Parent or Legal Representative
4. May not receive more than 2 of these grants per calendar year

ALL FUNDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE PARENT OR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE
