Grant Request Form- Hyde Park & Kenwood Interfaith Council
The HPKIFC grant program is for organizations/communities wishing to apply for one-time grant funds. All congregations, religious and spiritual bodies, organizations, and non-profit groups focusing their work on the South Side of Chicago that share the concerns and values of the HPKIFC are encouraged to apply for a grant. Funds must be used on Chicago's South Side to: 1) support projects to care for those in need especially around hunger, housing, medical, employment and education needs); or 2) support projects & programs that address social injustice, inequities, and other issues of mutual concern in our community.  Most grants will be between $500-$2000 annually.

Reporting Requirements and Timeline
By completing this Grant Request, I (or this organization) agrees to submit a follow-up report to the Hyde Park & Kenwood Interfaith Council about the outcomes of this project and how any grant funds have been used. In this report, the HPKIFC would like to know how exactly the money was spent (food, items, direct payments to individuals, etc...), how many people were served, in what capacity, and any other relevant information. We would ask that this report would be returned to the HPKIFC within 6 months of the disbursement of funds. If this timing will be an issue, please communicate this concern to our email at hpkinterfaithcouncil@gmail.com. We would love to hear about the wonderful work that you are doing for your/our communities and continue to discern how we as the HPKIFC best serve our neighbors in our mutual work.
