The Gender Advocacy and Inclusion Network (GAIN) in Higher Education is excited to provide opportunities for you to share your knowledge and expertise with its network. Our hope is to provide a robust calendar of programming during this upcoming year, and we encourage you to consider hosting a webinar, writing a blog post, or facilitating a workshop!
Our goal is to have a diverse set of programs that do the following:
- Align with our mission, vision, values, and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Provide tangible takeaways for the GAIN membership and conference attendees
- Focus on skill-building, practical tools, best practices, and/or broadening knowledge and perspectives.
- Engage participants in various learning methods and styles.
Prior to filling out this form, please be prepared to provide:
- Presenter and/or Co-Presenter Information
- A description of your session, presentation, blog post, or webinar.
- 2 - 3 learning outcomes
- How your session/blog post/webinar aligns with GAIN's missions, vision, and values, and Annual Conference Theme (if Annual Conference Programming).
We look forward to hearing what you want to share with the GAIN community. Faculty, staff, students (graduate or undergraduate), or professionals outside education working directly in JEDI areas are encouraged to apply. Megan Simón & Kate Birney, Co-Directors of Education, will support presenters to ensure that their content aligns with the intended educational opportunity and its outcomes and goals. If we find that your proposed session needs additional support, please anticipate collaborating directly with GAIN to meet presentation guidelines.
