    Venue Team Jobs

    Audio Visual talent: One or more people to oversee audio or video taping of the featured speakers. Local (San Diego) connections for equipment rentals would be helpful. Presenter Assistants: You will help to ensure the presenters have a great experience at the conference. You will be assigned to 1 or more presenters, connect with them prior to the event, and assist them to get to their events at the right place and time. You will ensure sure the room is correctly arranged with all required presentation equipment and materials. This could include flip charts, recording equipment and or microphones. You will be in the room as they present in the event needs arise. You may be asked to keep a clipboard to track participants who are receiving CEU’s. You will have the opportunity to pick the presenters you wish to assist. Decorators: Someone who would make the main presentation areas look properly dressed for the occasion. This could mean a couple of plants or flower arrangements, arranging curtains and the space. Map maker: Prior to the event, create a map that identifies where the different presentations will be. This will be both included as an online resource as well as a handout to participants. You will use the existing hotel map as a resource to create a customized Conference map.

    Registration Team Jobs

    Greeters: You will greet participants at the door or be strategically placed a bit further into the venue to usher people to the registration desk. You may be required to answer any first hand questions that arise and be able to point people into the right queue or direction. Essential skills/attributes: Warm heart and a good ability to make our guests feel welcomed. Registration table volunteers. You will have the opportunity to ensure conference attendees have a great conference. The first line of interaction with attending individuals, this role will set the stage for the Conference experience. Required skills/attributes: computer skills, organizational abilities, big heart and smile. Most of the duties for these positions will be during the first 2 days of the event. Help desk volunteers: You will be a friendly face to guide and support our attendees as needed, after the Registration desk closes. This may include taking the Help Desk outside to offer direction to workshop spaces in adjoining buildings. CEU volunteer: You will have the opportunity to be a key player in our conference! As a CE Volunteer, you will be supporting our conference attendees by organizing, streamlining and collecting the Continuing Education paperwork so our attendees go home with their CEU needs met. Required skills/attributes: detailed oriented, organized, time focused, patient, and persistent. Would prefer someone proficient with computers and excel. Time is very important for this position. Duties for this position will last throughout the conference. This process will be organized so that you can attend most if not all of your desired session.

    Marketing Team Jobs

    Photographers, videographers and podcast creators: Document the conference from opening day to closing ceremony, communicating the narrative of the conference and its attendees through photos, videos and audio. Editors and copywriters: Writers provide engaging, readable and appealing copy for website, blogs, flyers and other written materials before, during and after conference; editors are able to edit copy on deadline to make it readable and consistent with style. Marketing partners: Communicate to colleagues, clients, trainees, community, associates and others about conference through social media, e-mail newsletters, personal contact and flyers. Special focus on encouraging conference registration; flyers and other materials provided. Marketing partner manager: Keeps track of marketing partners and works closely with marketing chairperson to assure that marketing partners have information and support needed to sustain communications through November. Sponsor and vendor sales persons: Identify and recruit sponsors and vendors for conference, seeking both monetary donations of support as well as in-kind donations. Local, regional, national and international vendors and sponsors welcome.

    Care Team Jobs

    Care Concierge: Duties include being stationed at the ‘Care Concierge’ desk to respond to queries and provide emotional support for conference participants, volunteers and presenters, when required; will include liaison with the Care Chair and Care providers. Required skills / attributes include non-judgemental listening, compassion, calm demeanor in the presence of emotionality. Care Team Volunteer: You will provide peer support to Conference attendees who require emotional support; this may include referral to a counseling professional. Required skills / attributes include non-judgmental listening, compassion, calm demeanor in the presence of emotionality. Familiarity / experience with the Systemic Constellations approach required.

    Program Team Jobs

    Special Events Team Duties include helping the Program Chair to plan and arrange the welcoming reception, morning activities, plenary sessions, panels, evening activities and dance party. Invited Presenter Support Team Duties include helping keynote speakers/presenters with their local travel arrangement to hotel and back to airport, provide general support during the conference, and helping with any other issues that arise during their time at the conference. This team also helps organize packets for volunteer presenters at registration with instructions and room assignments and provide last minute schedule changes.
