Ask an Engineer
Power of Engineering’s mission is to shape a diverse engineering workforce through engagement in practical and creative experiences for high school students. Normally, we deliver this through one-day in-person events for students considering the career paths (and subject selection). We want to show Year 9 and Year 10 students that they have the power to change the world through engineering.

COVID-19 presents a challenge for us to make a positive impact in our traditional format. We have embarked on developing a digital format, “Ask an Engineer”, to continue delivering our support in this time of social distancing and remote learning. We want to ask you for your help. We want to know what you want to know about engineering. We want to know what questions you have – Diversity in the engineering profession? Skills required? The role that engineering fulfils in the community?

This questionnaire will help us develop digital content that we will share with you and your school, to show you the Power of Engineering.
