The Sahafi Summit 2024 is set to bring together journalists, media practitioners, and other industry stakeholders to discuss pressing issues facing the media landscape in Pakistan, including media freedoms, misinformation, journalism ethics, and professional solidarity. This is a unique opportunity for journalists to engage in skill-building sessions, network with peers, and exchange ideas with experts.

The Summit will be held on the following dates:

• Dates: December 11 to 13, 2024
• Venue: Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore

The event has been designed as a closed event only for journalists, media practitioners, media workers, media students, and academia. 

This call is only for working journalists, including people working for a news organisation in Pakistan as well as freelance journalists actively contributing to news outlets or digital media platforms. Due to limited space, we are opening the call for registration for 50 people. The selection of the participants will be done by the Steering Committee of the Summit.

Note: Please be advised that the organizers will not be covering any costs for accommodation, travel, or conveyance.
