UIC Homecoming Tailgate - Reserve a Tailgate Parking Spot - Fall 2023

HOCO 2023 Tailgate! Reserve a spot, enter to win $400, RSVP Today!

USG is sponsoring a competition for the best tailgate tent or table! Stations will be judged based on decor, school spirit, number of participants, timely arrival of participants, and creativity. Winner gets $400 towards your student organization's event funding and a trophy!  

The tailgate starts at 5PM and ends around 7PM when we head to the Basketball Game! Those setting up stations with cars must start setup at 4:30pm.

* Tailgate parking spots will be allocated in the parking lot on a first-come first-serve basis. So, for organizations that wish to have parking spots next to one another, it is encouraged to come right at 4:30pm! *

*Organizational pairing for the same station (1 parking spot) is allowed, HOWEVER, they must choose one organization to receive winning funds*

The organization with the most alumni attendees will receive $150 towards event funding!

Only student organizations are eligible for competition prizes.

  • Friday, November 10th 
  • 5pm to 7pm
  • Load in your tailgate stuff (cars especially) at 4:30pm
  • Parking Lot 1B | 1139 W. Harrison Street (right across from Credit Union arena)
  • Free food, drinks, and more
