2021-2022 PTA Executive Board - We'd love to have you join us! We meet monthly to discuss PTA programs, plan upcoming activities and events and brainstorm ways to support our teachers, parents and students as we strive to impact the education of all our Lakewood Lions. Check all positions you are interested in!

President - runs meetings, checks in with committee leaders, signs contracts, checks and documents and submits important documents to the 8th District PTA.

Recording Secretary - takes meeting minutes for Board and General meetings, confirms and logs all requests for payment and keeps records of important documents.

Treasurer - keeps all requests for payments, bank statements, cash verification forms. Writes out approved checks and updates budget, check register and bank reconciliation spreadsheets monthly.

VP of Fundraising - helps plan and coordinates school-wide fundraisers such as the Jog-A-Thon.

Corresponding Secretary - communicates important PTA news on PTA FB site and in the PTA display case in the school lobby. Writes thank you notes and reads all incoming letters at meetings.

Historian - logs all volunteer hours and submits yearly report in April to 8th District PTA.

Parliamentarian - learns our Bylaws and Standing Rules to keep PTA in alignment with non-profit regulations; updates Bylaws once every 3 years.

Auditor - completes a Mid-Year and End-of-Year Audit on all PTA finances utilizing the Treasurer's documents, PTA checklists and a PTA-provided Audit form.

VP of Volunteers and Membership - logs members, processes membership dues as needed, and reports totals to PTA. Logs Volunteer data and emails information to teachers, room parents and committee leaders.

Reflections Chair - sends out yearly Reflections Arts Contest submission form to all students. Collects work, displays work, coordinates a simple assembly/celebration to announce winners and then delivers winners to 8th District PTA.
