Join us for this wonderful family-friendly land & water camping focused series facilitated by experienced hiker and camping specialist Tarik Moore.

While camping is seen typically as a recreational activity, the knowledge and skills can also assist with emergency preparedness.

On 6/6 & 6/21 sessions will be held at Blue Bell Park Field Parking Lot: 800 W Walnut Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19128

On 6/20 We will meet at the Belmont Plateau lower parking on Montgomery Ave for parking.
We will circle up for intros & info
& then walk to the Dragon Boat Dock.
The Land Health Institute kayaking launch is located at the Dragon Boat Dock on MLK Drive.

Position: Nestled along the river on the west side of the Schuylkill River situated between Montgomery Avenue and the Sweetbriar cut-off.
Please note that MLK Drive is closed to usual vehicular traffic on most weekends in the summer.

There is park ranger/security at the gated entrance. They can allow event participants to drive down slowly- with blinkers/hazard lights on with caution down Montgomery Ave onto MLK Drive up to the Dragon Boat Dock parking lot.
