All members are encouraged to nominate members who you see as worthy recipients for the award categories outlined below. You do not have to nominate someone for every award.

Can members please note that club winners will automatically be nominated for the SLSCC branch awards and therefore it is essential that you put a short statement as to why a person deserves the award.

Patrol Person of the Year : This award recognises and rewards the member who has made an outstanding contribution to the delivery and development of surf lifesaving frontline activities. It is aimed at active surf life savers undertaking lifesaving duties and who can be recognised as an identifiable ‘Ambassador’ for surf life saving.

Young Life Saver of the Year : This award recognises and rewards patrolling members who have made an outstanding contribution to the delivery and development of surf lifesaving activities. It is aimed at members who represent the culture and core values of surf lifesaving.

Official of the Year : This award recognises and rewards officials who have made a significant contribution to the area of officiating within surf lifesaving with regards to both the commitment shown to officiating over the calendar year and their contribution towards official’s educational development.

Senior Competitor of the Year : The purpose of this award is to recognise and reward athletes who have demonstrated sporting excellence as well as contributed to the area of surf sports within lifesaving. Age 19-30
