Fairport Harbor School-Final Tours
Skipper’s Passage is this weekend and we are so excited to welcome you! The form is closed, but you are encouraged to attend!!!

Please note all events are Rain or Shine, please dress for the weather. Parking is only available on the streets surrounding Harding, the parking lot is closed for construction of the new building. Please do not block any driveways, fire hydrants, or crosswalks. Additional parking is available around Fairport Memorial Park.

Friday 9/6/24

From 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday Night Lights/tailgate will be held in the stadium near the concession stand. Mingle with other alumni and get ready to cheer on the Skippers as they take on Buckeye Central. Concessions will be available for purchase at the Jr. Class Stand.

6:15 p.m. The members of the Class of 1974 will be recognized.

7:00 p.m. Kick Off vs Buckeye Central

At approximately 8:00 p.m., at the end of the band’s halftime show, ALL Fairport Alumni will be asked to stand to be recognized, and the band will play the Alma Mater.

Saturday 9/7/24

Building Tours:

McKinley

From Noon to 1:00 p.m., stop by McKinley Elementary School, located at 602 Plum Street. Limited parking is available in the parking lot off of South Street. Enjoy a self-guided tour. Principal Heidi Elmore will welcome you at the main entrance door, which is located from the parking lot off of South Street.

Harding

From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm visit Harding MS/HS located at 329 Vine Street, please use doors on Vine Street shared with the library or the Board Office door (closest to the football field on Vine St.) Principal Katie Rumbarger will welcome you to stroll the halls on a self-guided tour, find your graduation class photo. Reminisce about the happy times you’ve experienced at Harding High. Light refreshments will be available near the Harding Gym.

Be sure to check out the view of the new building from the windows on every level to get a bird's eye view of the construction progress.

We want you to be a part of the history of the new building by signing a beam that will be used in the new building's construction.

Enjoy this last walk down memory lane, this is the final tour. The class photos are being taken down to be digitally archived. Once completed the digital archive will be available to view on the district website, under Alumni.
